• To import the petroleum products that meet both international and national standards.
• To specify in detail the quality and standards requirements of products to be imported in the contract to be signed with an external supplier and verify it with accompanying import documents of goods.
• To disseminate the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to the customers and employees.
• To conduct quality control tests and inspections upon acceptance of the imported products, to ensure fulfillment of the contract obligations by the foreign supplier.

The government has made a decision to use Euro-5 standard fuel products only in the major cities of Mongolia starting from October 1, 2018. The company’s competitive advantage is that it has reliable sources and suppliers of Euro-5 standard fuel in Russia, Republic of Korea, and China  and a network of storage depots and transportation fleet compliant with Euro-5 requirements to import through northern, western, eastern and southern border gates.

The company has the experience of delivering Euro-5 standard winter and summer diesel fuel to our major mining customers since 2012 and extended onto a retail network since June 2017, as well.

Shunkhlai LLC has fuel storage depots located in Ulaanbaatar, Darkhan-Uul, Orkhon, Selenge, Dornogobi, Umnugobi, Dornod, and Uvs provinces.

The aggregated handling capacity of the storage depots is 60 million liters, and while using those for the company’s storage needs it also offers their services to the state-owned enterprises, private enterprizes, and individuals.

Shunkhlai LLC’s storage depots have regular and temporary status of customs bonded warehouse, equipped with railway access,  flyover for unloading up to 16 rail wagons in parallel, flyover for loading different types of fuel into tank lorrys, vertical and horizontal gasoline storage tanks and a pumping station.

Shunkhlai LLC’s transportation capability delivers the petroleum products not only to its own gasoline stations but also offers transportation services to the state-owned enterprises, business organizatons, and individuals by using specially designed and equipped vehicles in compliance with technology requirements. The company’s one-time transportation capacity is 3 million liters of fuel to be delivered anywhere in the country.

Shunkhlai LLC sells its products through own fuel storage depots located in the capital city and other provinces on wholesale basis.

First time in the country’s industry practices, the company has fully automated the technological processes of receiving, measuring, and loading the petroleum products. This not only fully ensured the labour safety in a wholesale process but also created advantages of costs and time savings.

Retail sale of petroleum products is a service delivered to individual consumers. In order to improve the consumer outreach, the company has developed an extensive network of more than 90 gasoline stations throughout all of 21 provinces, through which we offer the petroleum products, that are fully compliant with the international standards and are environmentally friendly, to our customers.
